We are a Belgian family (Ruben 1977, Greet 1978, Odile 2010 & Piena 2012) who had enough of overcrowded Flanders who looked for a new home in the Alps. Since long we dreamt of being our own boss and living in the midst of nature. Greet worked in the event business. Ruben was employed at the Belgian port of Ghent/Sea Bruges.
In School and by travelling we picked up several languages (English, German, French, Dutch and some Spanish). What we thought of as important to us during these travels, we like to offer our guests: a good breakfast, a clean place, great information by the locals, friendly reception, flexibility, quietness…
Ruben was for the first time in Carinthia in 1980. He returned annually with his family during Easter. In 1981 he experienced for the first time the pleasure of skiing. Since 1998 Greet came along.
